Welcome!
Hi, I'm Emily and this is Emily: Autism & Me.
After years of knowing I was different and struggling, I received my autism diagnosis in November 2020 at the age of 27. Realising that everything I had been taught about autism didn’t really relate to me, I decided to set up Emily: Autism and Me to change the narrative of what it means to be autistic using my own lived experience.

Emily is a freelance access consultant working in the museum and heritage sector.
Using the lived experience approach, Emily supports the increasing of access for autistic and otherwise neurodivergent people.
